Problem Note 67388: SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.3 - Indexed data sets do not open in the repository if nonstandard characters are in the folder path name

An attempt to open an indexed SAS® data set in the repository of the SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.3 UI returns the following message:
Error: Failed to open data set because the associated index file was not found.
This error occurs when the folder path name for the data set contains a character space or certain nonstandard characters.
The following characters are problematic when they are present in the folder path name:
space # % ^ { } [ ]
The issue is addressed beginning with SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.3.1.
